Missouri Father Charged with Murdering Son

A St. Louis family is grappling with an unimaginable loss after Carl Walker Jr. was charged with murdering his own 16-year-old son, Isaiah Walker.

The tragedy unfolded on January 24th when, according to authorities, Carl and Isaiah got into an argument "over personal matters" outside their home. The argument escalated to a shooting, with Carl allegedly firing at his son.

Sadly, Isaiah was found wounded on the street by someone who alerted the police. Despite medical attention, Isaiah succumbed to his injuries three days later on January 27th.

A GoFundMe page set up to help Isaiah's mother with funeral expenses paints a picture of a loving young man passionate about football and video games. It also highlights the close bond he shared with his sister and cousin.

Adding another layer of heartbreak to this story, authorities allege that Carl attempted to cover his tracks after the shooting. According to a criminal complaint, he hid the gun and clothes used in the crime in a trash can. However, police eventually obtained a confession from Carl.

Currently, Carl is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond. No information regarding legal representation for him is available.

This case raises questions about the circumstances surrounding the father-son argument and the tragic loss of a young life.
