Two men who shared a home in Blanding, Utah, vanished in late February, and a dark turn has emerged in the case.
Their roommate and landlord, Charles Yoo, now faces accusations of murdering his tenants, William Bull (29) and Christopher Owens (28).
The story began when a friend of Bull's reported him missing on February 27th, unable to reach him by phone.
This friend mentioned a bizarre text message received by Bull's girlfriend, supposedly from Bull's phone.
The message complained about problems and referenced Bull's ex-wife (whose name was misspelled).
However, investigators discovered Bull hadn't been in contact with his ex for years.
Adding to the suspicion, the text originated near Yoo's residence.
Yoo claimed he saw Bull and Owens leave his home driving a black Dodge on February 26th.
Yet, despite being a mechanic, Yoo couldn't provide any details about the car's model.
Police reviewed security footage and found no black Dodge entering or leaving Yoo's place that day.
Further investigation revealed unsettling details.

Bull's phone data showed him traveling to Moab on February 25th and returning to Blanding later that night.
However, his phone signal disappeared soon after.
Owens, known for his active social media presence, also stopped using his phone around the same time.
Authorities attempted to track their phones, but Owens' phone offered no location data. Bull's phone pinged to an area near Yoo's house, but a search yielded no phone or person at that location.
The situation took another bizarre turn when a friend of Bull's accompanied Yoo to pick up Bull's girlfriend on February 27th.
This friend reported that Yoo, a former military man, instructed him on how to "clear" the house for potential threats.
The friend noticed a locked door in the garage that hadn't been checked and questioned Yoo about it.
Yoo initially claimed he hadn't checked the room, then abruptly insisted it was clear and didn't need checking.
Tragically, Bull and Owens remain missing.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the San Juan County Sheriff's Office.
