Local authorities have arrested Adan Tzoyohua Panzo, 36, on charges of felony murder, malice murder, and arson.
This follows the discovery of his two young daughters, ages 1 and 3, who were found dead inside a burning car at his house.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) reported the incident, which occurred shortly before midnight on Friday.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the fire, only to make the devastating discovery of the young girls' bodies.
According to the GBI statement, further investigation led to Panzo's arrest.
Allegations suggest he set the vehicle on fire with his children inside, during a domestic dispute with his wife.
A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed their sadness, stating they couldn't even imagine the suffering the children might have endured.
As of Monday afternoon, autopsies for the children are incomplete, and the cause of death remains undetermined.
