A Georgia couple was arrested after police uncovered their alleged attempts to solicit men online to have sex with their 2-year-old daughter.
Ashlee Crawley, 26, and James Tripp, 29, were taken into custody on Wednesday, as announced by Grovetown Police.
Crawley faces charges of two counts of child molestation and one count of violating the Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation and Prevention Act of 2007.
Tripp, on the other hand, is charged with one count of criminal attempted incest and one count of criminal attempted child molestation.
Police received a tip that the couple was using the online chat platform MeetMe to find men willing to engage in sexual acts with their young daughter.
During the investigation, authorities discovered that Crawley had been creating sexually explicit content and selling it on multiple online platforms.
Shockingly, some of these videos involved her children, including the 2-year-old, to earn more money.
Further investigations revealed that Tripp was making plans and seeking Crawley’s approval to have sex with his own 2-year-old daughter.
All the children were immediately removed from the home and placed in the care of the Division of Family and Children Services.
Crawley and Tripp were booked into the Columbia County Jail, where they are expected to face additional charges.
