A Tennessee police officer has been arrested for allegedly appearing in an "adult video" while on duty.
Sean Herman, a former officer with the Metropolitan Nashville police, was arrested last Wednesday on charges of serious official misconduct, according to a statement released by the department on Thursday.
The 33-year-old was fired on May 9.
This was after detectives identified him as the person shown from the chest down in a department uniform in an OnlyFans video.
Nashville police Chief John Drake instructed detectives to continue their investigation after Herman's dismissal, leading to his indictment, the department reported.
Herman was released from jail after posting bail as shown in jail records.
No attorney was listed for Herman in online court records, and USA TODAY was unable to immediately locate a listed phone number for him.
Herman, who worked for the department for three years, allegedly participated in a fake traffic stop in an OnlyFans video where he touched the exposed breast of a female driver.
Herman was supposed to be on patrol in the Madison precinct when the video was filmed, but instead, he was making an OnlyFans video in a warehouse parking lot which is unprofessional.
