Victoria Anne Cranmer: NJ Woman Charged After Video Shows Her Allegedly Assaulting Toddler

A New Jersey woman is behind bars after investigators accused her of allowing a toddler to touch her inappropriately while she recorded it, inside a home where she had been staying as a guest.

Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested on July 8, 2026, and now faces multiple charges including sexual assault on a child, endangering the welfare of a child, manufacturing child sexual abuse material and possession of child sexual abuse material.

According to court documents, Cranmer was homeless and needed a place to live, so she moved in with the child’s family, as per online reports

While she did not formally babysit the child, she would sometimes keep an eye on the 2-year-old inside the house while other family members were busy with different tasks around the home.

As part of an effort to help her get settled, the family gave Cranmer a new iPhone for her birthday in April, and that gift eventually became a key piece of evidence in the case.

After about three months of living with the family, there was a disagreements so Cranmer moved out of the residence, so the family then asked her to give back the cell phone they had given her.

When the phone was returned, a family member identified in an affidavit of probable cause as “Ms. P.” began looking through the device and that was when the alleged crimes came to light.

According to court documents, the woman discovered a very disturbing 14-second video saved to the phone’s Snapchat Memories.

The footage allegedly showed Cranmer sitting on a toilet with her genitals exposed while the 2-year-old child touched her, so Ms. P. saved the video and turned the cellphone over to authorities.

Investigators later noted that Cranmer can be heard laughing and talking to the child while the recording of the disturbing act was being made.

On May 28, 2026, detectives secured search warrants for both the cell phone and Cranmer’s Snapchat account. Upon reviewing the contents, they reportedly found multiple videos stored in the account that involved Cranmer and the young victim.

The woman who discovered the video later told authorities that she was sure Cranmer was the person in the footage,  pointing to distinctive tattoos visible on Cranmer’s legs, including “boobs,” a lightning bolt, and a mushroom, along with a marking on her hip.

The same tattoos were clearly depicted in the recording, giving investigators the corroboration they needed. Ms. P. also recognized the bathroom where the video had been filmed.

The criminal complaint charging Cranmer notes that she was 23 years older than the victim at the time the crimes occurred in May. Court documents also referenced the fact that the child was still in diapers during the chilling act.

Cranmer has now been charged with second-degree sexual assault and second-degree manufacturing of child sexual abuse material. Both of those charges carry a potential prison sentence of five to ten years upon conviction.

The remaining charges of endangering the welfare of a child and possession of child sexual abuse material are third-degree crimes, which can result in a sentence of up to five years in prison.

According to court records obtained by Daily Voice, Cranmer pleaded guilty to a DUI charge on September 20, 2023. Her plea agreement required her to use an ignition interlock device for one month, finish 12 hours of classes at an Intoxicated Driver Resource Center, and cover $640 in fines, while the other motor vehicle citations from that stop were dropped.

Her driving history since 2022 also includes a number of additional violations, among them speeding, careless driving, driving an unregistered vehicle, and various equipment and documentation offenses.

She is currently being held at the Ocean County Jail without bail, and according to PEOPLE, it remains unclear whether she has secured an attorney to speak on her behalf.
