A 2-year-old has reportedly been killed by his babysitters dogs in Valdosta, Georgia.
Police confirmed that the child, identified as Kaimir Jones, was fatally attacked by two Rottweilers while he was under the care of his babysitter.
According to KBTX, the babysitter has now been charged in connection with the tragedy.

On Saturday, October 5, 2025, officers from the Valdosta Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel responded to a 911 call from a home on the 3800 block of Pecan Drive.
When they arrived around 3:45 p.m., they found young Kaimir unresponsive, and sadly, first responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
According to police reports, the toddler's mother left the child under the care of his babysitter, 48-year-old Stacy Wheeler Cobb.
Police say the child was left alone for over two hours at the home, and during this time, Kaimir managed to leave the house and wandered into the backyard.
After he got outside, he reportedly opened a kennel containing two large Rottweilers, and tragically, the dogs attacked the child in what police described as a vicious and tragic dog attack..
When the babysitter was questioned, she told detectives that she had taken a nap and assumed Kaimir was also asleep.
However, investigators believe her negligence directly led to the child’s death, so Cobb was arrested.
She has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to children, as per CBS News.

Investigators futher uncovered that Stacy Wheeler Cobbs had been allegedly running an unlicensed daycare from that address in Georgia.
On the day of the incident, Kamir was the only one present. But authorities said that on most days, Cobb looked after about ten children in the unlicensed daycare.
In a statement, Valdosta Police Chief Leslie Manahan described the case as “a horrible and tragic event that should have never occurred.”
“No words will ever ease their pain, but our hearts go out to them during this unimaginably difficult time,” Chief Manahan said. “I also keep our first responders in my prayers, as they continue processing their response to this tragic scene.”
Lowndes County Animal Control officers took custody of the two Rottweilers and a third dog found on the property. Police are still reviewing evidence and said more charges could follow.
Additionally, Valdosta Police confirmed that detectives are examining whether Cobb violated additional safety or licensing laws related to her alleged unlicensed daycare Georgia operation.
This heartbreaking case has drawn an outpouring of sympathy from local residents and online communities.
A GoFundMe has been opened by Kaimir’s mother, and the proceeds aims to support funeral costs and raise awareness about proper childcare safety.
Authorities are also urging parents to verify daycare licenses and safety conditions before leaving children in the care of others.
