Bianca Carrasco's Disappearance: Mysteriously Vanished After a Heated Argument with Her Husband

Bianca Carrasco was a vibrant and compassionate 29-year-old registered nurse from San Antonio, Texas.

She disappeared on May 1, 2016, after an argument with her Husband,  Daniel Carrasco. 

Bianca's whereabouts still remain unknown in 2024, despite extensive searches and investigations.

Her case continues to puzzle her loved ones, law enforcement, and the entire San Antonio community.

Background Information

Bianca Carrasco was born on July 21, 1986, in Odessa, Texas, and spent most of her childhood in the Houston area. 

Her older sister, Jovanna, fondly remembers Bianca as a kind-hearted and compassionate individual. 

At the age of 18, Bianca met 29-year-old Daniel Carrasco.

Daniel was previously married to Bianca’s aunt, making him her former uncle by marriage. 

Despite the unusual circumstances, Bianca and Daniel began dating, and soon after, Bianca became pregnant. 

The couple decided to marry, and over the years, they had three children, making them a family of five.

Bianca was a dedicated and caring nurse, a profession she pursued with passion. 

Bianca's friends and patients admired her for the love and attention she devoted to her work. 

In 2015, after completing her RN program at Galen College of Nursing, Bianca began working at a cancer medical facility in San Antonio. 

However, behind the scenes, her marriage to Daniel was crumbling.

The Disappearance

On May 1, 2016, Bianca’s life took a tragic and heartbreaking turn.

Earlier that day, she was in contact with her elder sister, Jovanna Burney 

They talked about plans to meet with a lawyer on May 6 to discuss custody arrangements for Bianca’s children.

At this time, Bianca and Daniel were separated but still living together.

However, they were in the process of getting divorced, which led to the discussion about child custody with Bianca’s sister.

Bianca also told Jovanna that she was concerned for her safety because Daniel had been acting strangely.

She mentioned that one night, she woke up to find Daniel standing over her and just staring at her, which really freaked her out.

Later that evening, after spending time with her children and texting a man she was seeing, Bianca's phone was suddenly turned off at 10:22 pm.

That was the last time anyone heard from Bianca Carrasco. 

When Jovanna didn’t hear from Bianca the next morning and found her phones switched off, she immediately became worried.

She then called Daniel to ask about her sister's whereabouts. 

Daniel told Jovanna that he and Bianca had a heated argument that night she disappeared. 

He said that after the argument, she left everyone in the house and walked away.

Daniel claimed that he also left the house with their daughter right after Bianca did. 

He admitted that he saw her walking down the street but didn't stop to check on her.

Daniel said he assumed she would return home since their other two kids were there alone.

When Bianca failed to show up for work, Jovanna became more worried and knew something was wrong.

After discovering that Bianca had not contacted anyone all day, Jovanna called Daniel again. 

He calmly repeated that Bianca had left after their argument and that he didn't know where she was.

When Bianca did not return by May 3, Jovanna reported her missing to the police.

Investigation

Daniel’s behavior, both before and after Bianca went missing, was questionable. 

In the days leading up to her disappearance, Daniel had discovered that Bianca was seeing another man.

Upon finding out, Daniel emptied their joint bank account, leaving Bianca with little financial support.

He also sent her threatening messages, saying he would "deal with her." 

Fearing for her safety, Bianca shared these messages with her coworkers.

She told them that if she went missing or something happened to her, they should consider him the main suspect.

When questioned by the police, Daniel initially cooperated but his story was inconsistent. 

For example, Daniel told authorities that Bianca left with her purse but later claimed she left it in the car.

Despite these inconsistencies, Daniel allowed authorities to search their home and Bianca’s car.

However, the search did not yield any significant leads, and the investigation stalled.

Additionally, Daniel stopped cooperating with the police and hired a lawyer, which further delayed the investigation.

Possible Theories 

There are several possible theories about what happened to Bianca Carrasco on the night she disappeared.

1) Foul Play By Husband

The most widely discussed theory is that Daniel, unable to handle the end of his marriage, could be involved in her disappearance.

His erratic behavior, the threats he made, and his financial control over Bianca all suggest a possible motive.

Additionally, Daniel’s account of Bianca’s movements on the night she disappeared is riddled with contradictions.

This has led many to believe that he knows more than he has revealed to the authorities.

2) Voluntary Disappearance: 

Another theory suggests that Bianca may have left voluntarily.

However, this theory seems unlikely given the circumstances. 

Bianca was devoted to her children and had just secured a stable job. 

She had also made plans to meet with a lawyer to discuss custody arrangements.

This clearly indicated that she intended to stay in San Antonio.

Additionally, since Bianca’s disappearance, there has been no activity on her bank accounts, nursing license, or driver’s license.

This suggests that she likely did not leave voluntarily, since she would need money to survive, even if she ran away.

3) Foul Play By Stranger: 

Another theory is that Bianca might have fallen victim to foul play while walking alone that night.

This theory proposes that after Bianca left the house and was walking alone that night, she might have been abducted or picked up by someone who could have harmed her.

However, there is no concrete evidence at all to support this theory.

The search for Bianca has continued for over eight years despite the lack of any positive lead.

Law enforcement and various volunteer organizations have conducted multiple searches in Bianca's neighborhood and surrounding areas, but they have found no trace of her.

Despite the lack of physical evidence, investigators remain committed to solving the case.
