Male Model Dynus Saxon Arrested in Fatal Bronx Stabbing

Dynus Saxon, a 20-year-old male model was arrested and charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of Kadeem Grant, a 35-year-old man, on November 10, 2024, in the Bronx.

The incident occurred around 2:23 PM when police responded to a 911 call from an apartment building on the Grand Concourse. 

When officers arrived, they found Grant with a stab wound to his chest. 

Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A knife was recovered nearby, leading to Saxon's arrest the following day, November 11, 2024.

Dynus Saxon is a rising star in the fashion world, having modeled for Vogue Italia, L'Officiel Baltic, and Levi's. 

He was known for his work with major brands like Levi's and Calvin Klein

His striking presence had landed him on red carpets, including the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City. 

However, his career came to a sudden halt with this arrest, casting a shadow over his modeling future.

On November 10, Saxon was reportedly visiting an apartment in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx when he attacked Kadeem Grant without provocation. 

Sources suggest that Saxon retrieved a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Kadeem Grant multiple times while he was asleep on a couch. 

Saxon sustained an injury to his hand during the attack, likely from repeatedly jamming the knife into Grant’s chest. 

He was arrested at the scene, with a bandage visible on his right hand at his court appearance.

What Charges Is Dynus Saxon Facing?

Saxon has been charged with:

- Second-degree murder

- First-degree manslaughter

- Criminal possession of a weapon

He appeared before a judge on November 16, 2024, where he was held without bail. 

His next court appearance is scheduled for December 3, 2024.

Prosecutors confirmed that Saxon had been hospitalized for his hand injury after the stabbing.
