On June 22, 2023, the horror escalated when Dismore attempted to murder a 15-year-old girl he had been grooming.
Armed with a knife he had bought earlier that day, he ambushed her on Premier Road in Middlesbrough as she walked home from school.
When Dismore saw her coming, he stopped her and pretended to need medical assistance.
After recognizing his voice, she tried to run, but he chased her down and stabbed her five times in the back and chest.
Her desperate screams were captured on nearby security cameras.
Thankfully, a passing motorist stepped in, rescuing the girl and taking her to safety.
The victim later thanked the motorist for saving her life, saying, “I don’t know if I will ever get over everything he has done to me.”
