A 22-year-old high school special education teacher in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is facing serious criminal charges.
Nadia Horn, a world studies teacher at North High School, allegedly had sexual contact with two 16-year-old students, and authorities say the incidents reportedly took place at her apartment "with alcohol"
Horn's crimes began to unfold in January 2026, when she bought an iPhone 14 for one of the students after he told her he could not use Snapchat on his old phone, as per New York Post
Following the purchase, the teacher sent him "very revealing" snaps, and her messages to the student also became increasingly intense.
She allegedly told him that seeing him made her body feel a “certain way,” and at one point, she encouraged him to skip class to come to her apartment.
In one message included in the police complaint, she wrote, “I shouldn’t be asking you this, but will you come over.”
Police later discovered that there was a second 16-year-old victim as well, and they say that the first victim was present in the room the first time Horn had sex with the other boy.
The teacher brought both teenagers to her home to “hang out” before the sexual activity began, and a third student was also present at the apartment at one point.
Also, during that disturbing incident, the teacher reportedly the first student before he left the room for Horn and the second student to be alone.
During a later police interview, Horn reportedly told detectives that some of her messages to the first victim “potentially” included nude images. She also admitted to having sex with both pupils, including three encounters with the first victim.
That student later told police that he and the teacher did “everything sexual you can do with a person.”
Horn admitted to giving the boys wine but denied supplying them with any drugs.
Horn allegedly confessed to the actions, calling the encounters a mistake after which she was taken into custody.
She reportedly claimed the sexual contact “felt mutual” and stated she did not feel as if she was taking advantage of the boys.
Horn has now been hit with one count of second-degree sexual assault, two counts of child enticement, and two counts of sexual assault of a child by someone who works with kids or volunteers.
Horn has made her first court appearance at a Wisconsin court where a court set her bond at $15,000. She has been suspended from her teaching position without pay.
She posted, leading to her release from jail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 20 and if convicted on all counts, she faces up to 40 years in prison.
