Cameron Sanders: Nurse Arrested After Hidden Cameras, Over 116,000 Explicit Images and Firearms Found in Munford Home

A months-long investigation that began with a mother’s alarming discovery in her own home has ended with the arrest of a Munford nurse.

He is currently accused of secretly recording a child and amassing a staggering collection of explicit material.

Cameron Sanders

Cameron Sanders, 33, was taken into custody on Friday, May 29, after Tipton County deputies executed arrest and search warrants at his residence on West Rae Drive.

The case against him started back in December 2025, when a woman reported finding hidden cameras inside her daughter’s bedroom and bathroom.

According to the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office, she told investigators that Sanders had been filming the juvenile while she was undressed.

During the investigation, authorities seized Sanders’ cellphone and later obtained a search warrant for the device, which set off a massive digital forensics effort with help from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security.

The numbers that emerged from that examination were enormous, as reported by Hawaii News Now.

Authorities say they uncovered more than 116,000 nude or explicit images, over 4,000 nude or explicit videos, and more than 9,300 photos and videos that are suspected to be child sexual abuse material.

In addition, authorities say they found 10 videos that show the juvenile victim in the shower inside the home, as well as more than 2,400 photos and videos of other unsuspecting females, including minors and teens.

When deputies searched Sanders’ property, the findings extended beyond digital files, as they located eight firearms, morphine, hydromorphone, Xanax, and lorazepam, officials said.

The presence of the guns and drugs together led to additional charges tied to possessing weapons during a dangerous felony.

AccordSanders now faces a list of charges that includes:

1. Aggravated unlawful photographing of a minor
2. Unlawful photography, solicitation of a minor by electronic means,
3. Possession of Schedule II narcotics, possession of Schedule IV drugs, and
4. Unlawful possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

His bond has been set at $250,000.

Tipton County Sheriff Shannon Beasley issued a statement that underscored the gravity of the allegations. “I don’t even know where to start,” Beasley said.

“The allegations in this case are deeply disturbing and strike at the heart of our responsibility to protect our children and youth. The exploitation of children in any form is reprehensible. The fact that Sanders works in a profession entrusted with caring for others makes these allegations even more troubling.”

Sanders was employed as a nurse at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the time of his arrest, making the allegations even more disturbing.

The sheriff’s office noted that the case will be presented for possible federal prosecution, and additional charges could still be filed as investigators continue to comb through evidence.
