The 20-year-old Biological Sciences student who lived off campus was attacked and killed while he was returning home on Thursday night, June 15, 2023.
His body was found in the early hours of Friday, close to the compound where he resides in Wukari town, a short distance from the main gate of the university.
SUG Secretary General of the university, Comrade Linus Mary Samuel, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday, said the assailants also made away with the deceased's mobile phone
While the SUG Body commiserates with Mark's immediate family, and the entire Federal University Wukari students for this huge loss to us all, we assure you that the perpetrators of this heinous act will not go unpunished.
Authorities say they will do all within their reach to make sure the assiliants are brought to book, and made to face the full wrath of the law.
