Teixeira operated under the alias 'Bruno' on the dating apps and consistently sought financial favors from his victims.
According to São Bernardo police chief Roberto Krasovic, Teixeira would resort to violence, using knives or poison, when his demands were rejected.
Krasovic stated that Teixeira persisted in his pursuit of new targets, even after committing the heinous crimes, refusing to accept any refusal.
Deputy police chief Giuliano Rossi revealed that Teixeira preferred using knives up to 15 centimeters long to carry out his killings.
Described as a psychopath by sectional police chief Kelly César, Teixeira displayed a chilling demeanor when recounting his crimes, even providing detailed information about his preferred choice of weapon.
Authorities began closing in on Teixeira following the murder of Mário Marchiani, 60, on December 3, 2022.
Teixeira waited three days before sending a text message to the husband of the property owner, confessing to the murder and revealing the location of the body in one of the rooms.
The victim's body was found in an advanced state of decomposition when the Military Police searched the rented home.
