Female 'drug dealer,' known as PERCOCET PRINCESS, Arrested for Selling Drugs Linked to Tragic Death of Robert De Niro's Grandson

A woman has been taken into custody on federal narcotics charges in connection with the drug-related death of actor Robert De Niro's 19-year-old grandson.

The arrest was made by New York City police officers and federal drug agents, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The suspect, Sofia Haley Marks, 20, is accused of selling drugs to Leandro De Niro Rodriguez.

She is expected to appear in federal court later today, although no online booking records were available at the time of writing, and it is unclear if she has legal representation.

Rodriguez was discovered deceased in his Manhattan apartment on July 2, and the cause of his death is still being investigated by the city medical examiner's office.

Drena De Niro, Rodriguez's mother, confirmed his passing on Instagram, stating that he died after consuming fentanyl-laced pills that were allegedly sold to him by someone else.

As the son of Drena De Niro and artist Carlos Mare, Rodriguez followed in the footsteps of his famous grandfather as an actor and had appeared alongside his mother in various projects, including the 2018 remake of "A Star is Born" starring Bradley Cooper.

Robert De Niro expressed deep distress over his grandson's death and has not yet provided a comment regarding the recent arrest.
