Murder Investigation Launched after Teen Stabbed to Death in London



In London, a tragic incident unfolded at a birthday party where a teenager lost his life in a stabbing. Emergency services responded to reports of violence on Granville Road in Brent shortly after 11:20 pm. 

Despite the efforts of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, the 17-year-old victim could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene. The teenager's family has been notified of the devastating news.

Formal identification of the victim is yet to take place, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted in the future. Detectives have initiated a murder investigation into the incident. 

Another 17-year-old boy, believed to be involved in the altercation, received medical treatment for his injuries and was taken to the hospital. Additionally, a woman in her early 20s suffered a hand injury and required hospital care.

The police have cordoned off the crime scene, and specialized detectives from the crime command are diligently working on the case. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the fatal stabbing. 

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers has urged anyone present at the party who has not yet spoken to the police to come forward and provide valuable information to establish what transpired that night. He also requested individuals who may have captured any footage on their phones to contact the authorities.

Chief Superintendent Dan Knowles, responsible for the north-west command unit in Brent, expressed his condolences and assured the community that the investigation would be conducted swiftly and thoroughly. 

Increased police presence can be expected in the area, and local residents are encouraged to share any information or concerns they may have with the authorities.
