Nigerian Woman Kills Her Benefactor who is A Police Officer, Then Sets Her And Her Children on Fire

In Anambra state, Nigeria a woman named Nneamaka Nwosu has been arrested by the police for a horrifying incident in which she set a police officer and her two children on fire in Nnokwa, Idemili South Local Government Area.

The suspect, who is from Amawbia, had become homeless after divorcing her husband.

Seeking help, she approached the police officer, who offered her accommodation out of pity.

Recently, an argument between the two women escalated into a physical fight.

In a fit of anger, the suspect allegedly struck the police officer on the head with a pestle, rendering her unconscious.

Subsequently, the suspect tied the officer and her children with rope inside their room and proceeded to set them ablaze.

Tragically, the police officer and her children did not survive the horrific ordeal and perished in the fire.

Upon her arrest, the suspect initially claimed that a gas cylinder had exploded while the victims were boiling water.

However, after intense interrogation, she reportedly confessed to the crime, providing details of how she carried out the act and describing how she burnt them alive.

Expressing remorse and attributing her actions to the influence of the devil, the suspect stated that she deserved to be shot dead for committing such a wicked act against the person who had helped her in her time of need.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, informed that the bodies of the police officer and her children have been taken to the mortuary.

"Preliminary information suggests that the police officer had provided accommodation to the suspect while she was searching for a house.

The two women had a disagreement, which escalated into a fight, leading to the suspect striking the police officer's head with a pestle.

As she lost consciousness, the suspect tied her together with her two children before setting them ablaze. The victims' bodies have been recovered and placed in the morgue. Further updates will be provided," he stated.
