In a heartbreaking incident, a postwoman named Olga Leontyeva, 32, was discovered dead after being stuck in a lift for three long days without any rescue.
The tragic event occurred while she was on her mail delivery rounds in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on July 24.
CCTV footage captured her entering the lift on the ground floor of a nine-storey flat block, but she was never seen coming out.

Her worried relatives reported her missing on July 26, and to their dismay, her lifeless body was found inside the lift the following day.
It is believed that a power cut caused the lift to malfunction, leaving Olga trapped and helpless.
Shockingly, no one heard her cries for help, and the lift's alarm failed to sound.
The lift had a history of technical problems, and it was not properly registered.
Frequent breakdowns were common, as confirmed by the Tashkent General Prosecutor's Office.
Olga, who had married in 2018 but later divorced, leaves behind her six-year-old daughter, now under the care of her relatives.
State investigators are now examining the incident, and a criminal case has been initiated by the prosecutor's office.
A prior inspection of the Chinese-manufactured lift had shown it to be functioning correctly, but it had not been registered in accordance with government regulations.
The power supplier, however, denied any electricity cuts during the days in question.
Fakhriddin Nuraliyev, spokesperson for Regional Electricity Networks enterprise, stated that emergency shutdown records support this claim.
The cause of the tragedy seems to lie in the lift's malfunction, as reported by the building's residents.
