A woman, who wishes to remain anonymous and is referred to as D, recounts her harrowing escape from what could be a serial killer targeting women in the Dallas area.
The police are currently investigating the recent fatal stabbings of three women, Kimberly Robinson, 60, Cherish Gibson, 25, and an unidentified woman, whose bodies were discovered in Dallas fields within a five-mile radius.
D, a sex worker, shares her chilling experience that occurred on June 23. She recalls seeing Cherish Gibson, new to the street frequented by sex workers, entering a 2006 Scion xB.
Later, when the driver returned looking for more company, D agreed to accompany him for $120. Despite feeling uneasy, D decided that they stop in a nearby alley and have sex there instead of driving very far away
Keeping her window slightly rolled down and holding her vape and pepper spray for protection, she tried to remain cautious while they had sex.
After the sex romp, the situation took a terrifying turn.
The driver climbed on top of D, brandishing a blade against her neck, demanding money. In a brave attempt to protect herself, D struggled to find her phone and managed to escape by opening the car door.
The assailant tried to run her over but eventually drove away.
D hasn't returned to the area since, as the attacker reportedly returned the next night to intimidate her. Fearful for the safety of others, D warns fellow sex workers to be cautious and vigilant.
The homicide investigations are ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Dallas Police.
The community remains on high alert, hoping for swift justice and an end to this potential threat.
