A distressing incident unfolded when the lifeless body of Miss Mbah Ezinne, a final-year student at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, was discovered in her apartment.
The devastating news broke on Sunday after she failed to show up at her church. Ezinne, a student in the Department of Anatomy, was found deceased in her residence.
Her friends and family grew worried when they tried to get in touch with her during church service, only to receive a message saying that her phone was not reachable.

Ezinne and a male friend, who was later identified as her course mate, were lying lifeless on the floor.
Stricken by shock, Stephen attempted to enter the apartment, but neighbors advised him to involve the police before taking any further actions.
Local authorities were summoned, and both victims were rushed to the hospital.
Tragically, upon arrival, Ezinne was declared dead.
The male friend, whose identity remains unknown, was successfully revived but remains in critical condition as of Tuesday morning.
