West Mercia Police have discovered a body near River Wye. The discovery was made while authorities were searching for a man who disappeared, after a reported confrontation with four individuals.
Sean Day, 29, reportedly fell into the water near the River Wye in Hereford on July 29 during the altercation.
The authorities have been conducting river searches since then, and it was recently announced that a body, likely Sean's, was found.
While formal identification is pending, Sean's family has been informed.

Police will continue their search efforts along the river, and a significant police presence will be maintained in the area.
West Mercia Police has stated that a recovery operation is underway, and they anticipate a prolonged police presence in the vicinity.
The ongoing search involves assistance from West Mercia Search and Rescue as well as Hereford and Worcestershire Fire Service.
Meanwhile, three men who were initially arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on police bail, allowing detectives to pursue further investigations.
These men, aged 34, 28, and 24, were taken into custody after new information emerged linking them to an altercation near Victoria Bridge.
The authorities are reaching out to individuals who were present in the Quay Street/Castle Green area of Hereford during the period from 10:30pm on July 28 to 12:30am on July 29.
They are particularly interested in hearing from those who may have witnessed or heard any disturbances or signs of distress near the riverside.
Detective Inspector Mark Walters is urging individuals who possess relevant information regarding the incidents near the riverbank on the late Friday night and early Saturday morning to step forward and assist authorities.
