Woman, Carrington Elise Harris, Arrested for Stabbing Grandfather in Louisiana After He complained About Her General Hygiene
A 22-year-old woman from Louisiana was apprehended after allegedly assaulting her grandfather by stabbing him in the face during a dispute over her personal hygiene.
The suspect, Carrington Elise Harris, was taken into custody and charged with domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse battery with a dangerous weapon.
The incident occurred in Keithville, Louisiana, where law enforcement responded to a call regarding a domestic disturbance.
According to reports, Harris' grandparents asked her to shower, which led to a heated argument. Harris became enraged, causing property damage, and subsequently cut off the power to the residence.
In an attempt to restrain her, the grandparents were unsuccessful, and Harris proceeded to the kitchen, where she obtained a knife and allegedly stabbed her grandfather in the face.
Following the assault, Harris fled into the nearby woods, but she was located and apprehended by deputies a few hours later.
She is currently being held without bond at the Caddo County Correctional Center.
The condition of Harris' grandfather has not been disclosed.
It is worth mentioning that Harris had a prior arrest for domestic abuse battery earlier this year, although the specifics of that case and any other individuals involved remain unclear.
