More Details Emerge On The Death Of Los Angeles Police Deputy As Surveillance Footage Reveals Moments Before Deputy's Tragic Shooting

Homicide investigators examining surveillance footage have uncovered critical moments preceding the tragic shooting of a deputy in Los Angeles County. The video, acquired by FOX 11 Los Angeles, captures a black car pulling up alongside a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department cruiser while stopped at a red light. 

While the footage doesn't clearly depict the gunfire, the black vehicle departs as the sheriff's cruiser inches forward before coming to a halt.

A vigilant citizen noticed the deputy slouched in his cruiser in front of the Palmdale Sheriff's Station in Palmdale, California, and promptly alerted other deputies within the station. LASD Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, aged 30, was initially transported to the hospital in his cruiser, with an ambulance joining them en route, as reported by FOX 11. S

ubsequently, Clinkunbroomer was transferred to an ambulance, while another deputy transported his cruiser to a medical facility in Lancaster.

Addressing a news conference on Saturday night, Sheriff Robert Luna earnestly sought the community's assistance, emphasizing the urgency of capturing the individual or individuals responsible for ambushing and taking the life of Deputy Clinkunbroomer. 

Sheriff Luna pledged the full commitment of LASD resources to ensure justice for the fallen deputy.

It's notable that Deputy Clinkunbroomer hailed from a family deeply rooted in the sheriff's department, with both his father and grandfather having served in similar capacities. 

In a message posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Sheriff Luna underscored the sacrifice made by Deputy Clinkunbroomer, who had dedicated his life to community service and tragically lost his life in the line of duty.
