Bizarre Break-In: Naked Intruder, Alvin Ducheneaux, Trashes Daughter's Room in North Dakota Home

In the heart of the night, a homeowner in North Dakota was jolted awake by loud bangs and were shocked to discover a naked, heavily intoxicated man wreaking havoc in their daughter's bedroom, according to information provided by the police.

Just before 3 a.m. on a Friday, the Bismarck Police Department rushed to the residence on West Bowen Avenue. They arrived to find the male homeowner, armed and in his birthday suit, apprehending the intruder, as reported by KX News, citing the arrest affidavit.

The male homeowner informed the police that they were roused from their slumber by disruptive noises downstairs. The male homeowner took action, arming himself, and instructed his wife to dial 911, according to the Bismarck Tribune.

According to the couple, the suspect, identified as Alvin Ducheneaux, was discovered trashing their daughter's vacant bedroom, tossing toys and clothing about. Ducheneaux allegedly informed the homeowner that he had come to collect clothing for himself, the Bismarck Tribune stated.

Reportedly, the man entered the house through an unlocked back door after the family had retired for the night. The couple noted that Ducheneaux wrecked a shoe rack in their entryway closet and caused around $200 in damages to their daughter's bedroom.

The couple surmised that the man might have mistaken their home for a neighbor's residence. The Bismarck Tribune reported that the police confirmed the man was significantly intoxicated.

Ducheneaux faced charges of Burglary, Night (Class B Felony), Criminal Mischief, Willful Damage (Class B Misdemeanor), and Disorderly Conduct, Offensive Condition (Class B Misdemeanor). He was held in the local jail on a $5,000 cash bond.

His next court appearance was scheduled for November, and he could potentially face up to 10 years in prison due to the felony charge.
