Georgia Authorities Uncover Margret Dubignon’s Body in Hidden Suitcase, Boyfriend Arrested for Murder


Over the weekend, authorities in Georgia apprehended Freddrick Durham, who was accused of the alleged murder of his girlfriend, Margret Dubignon. 

The chilling sequence of events unfolded as her body was discovered concealed in a suitcase within their residence, prompting a comprehensive investigation into the ghastly crime.

According to a news release from the Thomaston Georgia Police Department, officers responded to a potential missing person report at the residence on West County Rd. 

Following an unsuccessful welfare check and the absence of Dubignon and her vehicle, a disturbing emergency call led the authorities to the gruesome discovery of her body hidden in a large suitcase within the closet of her apartment.

Law enforcement officers swiftly took control of the situation, securing the scene and confirming Dubignon's identity through collaboration with the Upson County Coroner and Emergency Medical Services personnel. 

Subsequently, a comprehensive search for the suspect was initiated, resulting in Durham's arrest in Atlanta, where he was apprehended with the assistance of the Atlanta Police Department.

The authorities expressed their gratitude to Dubignon's family for their unwavering support and assistance throughout the investigation, acknowledging the emotional challenges they faced in the wake of the horrific incident.

Durham is currently in custody at the Upson County Jail without the option of bond, as the investigation continues into the tragic and disturbing events.
