Tragic Lewiston Massacre: Suspect, Robert Card Found Deceased After 2-Day Manhunt


In an unfortunate incident that shook the town of Lewiston, Maine, a tragic massacre claimed the lives of 18 individuals. Reports from law enforcement sources revealed that the suspect, Robert Card, has been found deceased. 

The authorities discovered his body near a recycling plant in Lisbon Falls, Maine, with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The suspect had previous ties to the recycling plant, although specific details were not immediately disclosed.

The extensive manhunt for Card, spanning over two days, involved the collaborative efforts of numerous law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, SWAT, and the 'BORTAC' Border Patrol unit. 

Amidst the grim turn of events, Governor Janet Mills expressed gratitude towards the dedicated efforts of the local, county, state, and federal law enforcement teams, as well as the people who assisted in the search.

The victims of this heartbreaking tragedy were identified by Maine officials as Ronald Morin, Peyton Brewer Ross, Joshua Seal, Brian MacFarlane, Joseph Lawrence Walker, Arthur Fred Strout, Maxx Hathaway, Stephen Vozella, Thomas Ryan Conrad, Michael R. Deslauriers II, Jason Adam Walker, Tricia Asselin, William Young, Aaron Young, Robert Violette, Lucille Violette, William Frank Brackett, and Keith Macneir.
