Two Nigerian Students Arrested for Allegedly Robbing and Murdering a Socialite During a Threesome

Two female students from Kwara State Polytechnic, Adama Joseph and Favour Vandora, found themselves in police custody after being accused of involvement in the tragic death of Adeniyi Ojo, a well-known Kwara socialite, during a sexual encounter.

Previously, we reported on the untimely demise of Adeniyi Ojo, the Managing Director of a guest hotel in Ilorin, under suspicious circumstances on September 29 (read here).

The Police Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed during the suspects' presentation in Abuja that these two individuals were apprehended by police officers on October 6, 2023. They were allegedly involved in the robbery and killing of Mr. Adeniyi Ojo, who was the son of Chief Emmanuel Ojo, a prominent figure in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Adejobi elaborated, "Our officers diligently conducted investigations leading to the arrest of these suspects in Mowe Ibafo, Ogun State. In a tragic turn of events, the duo lured the deceased into a sexual encounter with the intention of extorting money from him. When he didn't comply, they resorted to drugging and suffocating him, resulting in his unfortunate death."

"The suspects have been processed and are set to face legal charges shortly," added the Force PRO.

The police reiterated their unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of the public.

One of the suspects, Adanma Joseph, spoke to the press and confirmed the police's version of events. Adama explained that she had been in a sexual relationship with the deceased, and he had proposed a threesome involving her and her friend, Favour Vandora.

She stated that they drugged the victim and made off with his phone and other possessions, only discovering his death later.

Adama shared, "We had completed our ND program at Kwara Polytechnic prior to the incident. Our initial intention was not to cause harm. On that specific day, we aimed to rob him. We proposed engaging in BDSM, and he agreed to a threesome with me and my friend, Oreoluwa.

"After Oreoluwa bound his hands and legs, I attempted to silence him, but he resisted, so I desisted. When we couldn't locate any money in his pockets, my friend took his phone and presented it to his face to unlock it using facial recognition. However, he started shouting and managed to free one of his hand restraints, attacking my friend. We administered Rohypnol to him in an attempt to prevent his outcry. To stifle the noise, my friend put a pillow over his face, and when he went silent we told him that we were leaving, because we thought he was pretending, but he didn’t respond, so we left. I touched him with a dead knife used for cutting cake, but he didn’t bleed as I never meant to stab him or hurt him. We only wanted to take his money. We didn’t know he died until when the police arrested us in Ogun State. We only took his phone, the knife, and the ropes with us.”
