Days after sustaining gunshot wounds inflicted by the woman's ex-boyfriend, a tragic incident unfolded in Gwinnett County, Georgia, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Daqwayvious Kleckley.
The alleged perpetrator, Terrance Alonzo Washington, now faces charges of felony murder and malice murder, along with additional counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and theft by taking.
Washington, 43, with a prior felony conviction for aggravated assault, was apprehended in the city of Warner Robbins shortly after the attack.
The police report indicates that the assailant, Washington, targeted Kleckley and his 44-year-old mother on a Tuesday night in unincorporated Lawrenceville, a suburb of Atlanta.
Described as a "domestic-related" incident, the motive behind the attack stems from Washington's previous relationship with the mother.
