A 31-year-old woman named Angelique Dion Glenn found herself on the wrong side of the law after a heated exchange over a mistaken wine order escalated into a physical altercation at a Sanford Wawa convenience store. Glenn's actions landed her two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
The incident unfolded when Glenn accidentally placed her wine bottle with the order of a couple who were also in line. Upon realizing the error, the couple requested a refund for the wine, which was promptly processed. However, Glenn's frustration mounted, and she reportedly uttered, "Why can't you just pay for my bottle of wine?"
Threats and violence ensued as Glenn proceeded to menace the couple before grabbing a wine bottle and striking the woman on the head. The situation took a more ominous turn when Glenn turned her attention to the woman's boyfriend, striking him in the face with the wine bottle, rendering him unconscious.
Glenn's belligerent behavior didn't stop there. As she made her way to the parking lot, she continued to issue threats of violence toward the couple. A store cashier corroborated the victims' account, confirming that Glenn had indeed assaulted the couple and repeatedly struck the man with the wine bottle.
Glenn's attempt to flee the scene was thwarted when the Uber she summoned refused to transport her. Undeterred, she decided to leave the Wawa on foot. Her path to freedom, however, was short-lived as she was apprehended by police and subsequently booked into the Seminole County Jail.
