Days After Rising Tech Star, Kimberly Wong is Found Dead in San Francisco Home, Her Boyfriend, Scott Fisher Arrested


Tragedy struck the San Francisco tech community last week when 27-year-old Kimberly Wong was found dead in her home. Authorities have arrested her boyfriend, 29-year-old Scott Fisher, in connection with her death.

Fisher was apprehended in Concord, California, on Thursday morning and booked into San Francisco County Jail on a homicide charge. He remains in custody without bail and has not entered a plea or secured legal representation.

Wong, a product designer at Plaid and former intern at Splunk, was discovered by police responding to a welfare check at her residential building on November 30th. She was pronounced dead at the scene, but the cause of death remains undisclosed by both police and the medical examiner.

Wong's LinkedIn profile reveals her impressive career in software development. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in human-centered design and engineering.
