Lil Wayne Sued by Former Bodyguard Who Claims Assault and Gun Threat

Lil Wayne is facing a lawsuit from his former bodyguard, Carlos Christian, who alleges that the rapper assaulted him and threatened him with a gun.

According to court documents, Christian claims that Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., brandished a semiautomatic rifle and "threatened to shoot him" during an altercation that took place in December 2021 at Wayne's Hidden Hills, California home.

Christian also claims that Wayne punched him in the ear during the incident. Christian says he has incurred medical expenses, lost wages, and suffered emotional distress due to the alleged altercation and is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

Wayne has denied the allegations, and sources close to the rapper say he does not own a gun. However, Christian reportedly took the gun threat seriously, as Wayne previously spent time in prison for weapons charges.
