Lori Vallow Daybell Pleads Not Guilty in Arizona to Conspiracy Charges

Lori Vallow Daybell, known as the "Doomsday Mom," has entered a plea of not guilty to two charges filed against her in Arizona. These charges include conspiracy to kill her fourth husband, Charles Vallow.

Vallow Daybell is already serving a life sentence in Idaho after being convicted of murdering her two children and conspiring to kill her current husband's ex-wife. The Arizona charges stem from a separate investigation into the death of Charles Vallow, who was shot and killed in 2019.

Prosecutors believe that Vallow Daybell worked with her brother, Alex Cox, to orchestrate the murder of her husband. Cox, who also allegedly shot and missed another relative, Brandon Boudreaux, died from blood clots in December 2019.

Authorities suspect that Vallow Daybell believed both men were possessed by "dark spirits," similar to the claims she made about her own children before their disappearance in September 2019. The children's bodies were later found buried on the property of Vallow Daybell's current husband, Chad Daybell.

While Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell were originally expected to be tried together in Idaho, Vallow Daybell's insistence on a speedy trial led to separate proceedings. Her Idaho trial is still pending.

Meanwhile, Arizona prosecutors have declined to charge Chad Daybell in connection with the shootings.

This complex case involves multiple deaths, alleged conspiracies, and a controversial figure known as the "Doomsday Mom." As the legal proceedings continue, more details are expected to emerge about this tragic situation.
