Two Women Caught on Camera Purchasing Bolt Cutters, Now Charged in Connection with the Murder of Man, Leondre Flynt who Vanished after Meeting an Online Date
Authorities in Georgia have made a new arrest linked to the disappearance and murder of a man in Atlanta.
A 21-year-old woman named Audrey Zalky was arrested in Carroll County on Friday, confirmed by the Atlanta Police Department to Law&Crime on Saturday. Zalky becomes the second person charged in connection with the killing of Leondre Flynt, 21, who vanished after leaving his Atlanta home for a date earlier this year.
Zalky faces charges of murder and concealing the death of another individual. Currently held for extradition to Atlanta, she was allegedly in contact with Flynt online before he disappeared.
Destiny Stephens had been previously arrested in November in connection with Flynt’s death. She faced similar charges of murder and concealing evidence. The investigation revealed that Flynt had been shot and killed on July 29, the last day his family heard from him.
Authorities suspect a third individual, Ahmir Bobo, to be involved in Flynt’s murder and in disposing of his body.
The investigation unveiled crucial details: a reported gunfire incident, connections to the apartment complex Flynt had been heading to, and surveillance footage from a hardware store where items were purchased after his disappearance.
Despite tracking Flynt's car to a store in Michigan, it remains missing. In August, blood traces were discovered at the apartment complex where authorities believe the crime occurred.
Atlanta police have confirmed an ongoing investigation.
