Arrests Made in Connection to Quadruple Homicide in Reedley


Authorities have charged a 17-year-old with four counts of murder following a distressing incident where three individuals were discovered deceased in connection with a reported burglary, while a fourth body was found in a separate property. Additionally, two adults have been charged with accessory after the fact.

In Reedley, California, police responded to reports of a burglary on Saturday, uncovering three deceased individuals within a residence. Identified as 44-year-old Guadalupe Bonds, Billy Bonds aged 81, the third victim remains unidentified, according to the authorities. Guadalupe and Billy were residents of the home where they were discovered.

Subsequent to executing search warrants on Tuesday, law enforcement arrested three individuals. During the process, they found a fourth deceased individual, with no apparent direct connection established between this body and the initial three. However, authorities mention that evidence gathered may offer more insights.

Those arrested included a 17-year-old whose name hasn’t been disclosed, Brynn Curtis aged 34, and Rafael Gonzalez aged 21, as confirmed by Reedley police. According to ABC30, Curtis and Gonzalez are reportedly the mother and boyfriend of the teenage boy.

The identity of the fourth deceased individual remains unknown, with authorities describing the person as a Caucasian male in his 40s. There's uncertainty regarding any association between this individual and the burglary or any potential connections to the suspects or victims.

Previously, law enforcement sought Matthew Bonds, 43, husband of Guadalupe, who was reported missing following the home invasion and was considered at risk.

Presently, the plea status or legal representation for the teenager, Curtis, and Gonzalez remains unclear.
