NFL Star's Brother, Jackson Mahomes, Sees Sexual Battery Charges Against Him Dismissed in High-Profile Legal Battle

Jackson Mahomes, the younger sibling of NFL sensation Patrick Mahomes, faced legal turmoil involving serious allegations, but recent developments have seen some charges dropped. At 23, Jackson found himself in the spotlight following an incident at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas, where security cameras captured him allegedly pushing an employee and then forcefully kissing the owner.

The fallout from this incident caused significant negative attention for the restaurant, ultimately contributing to its closure. Owner Aspen Vaughn shared with The Kansas City Star the ordeal she endured, including death threats and vandalism directed at the establishment following Jackson's felony sexual battery charges.

However, recent reports from The Associated Press revealed that prosecutors opted to dismiss the sexual battery charges against Jackson. This decision was due to Vaughn's reluctance to testify against him during a recent court hearing.

While the Johnson County District Attorney's Office refrained from commenting, citing a pending misdemeanor charge and a judicial gag order, Jackson's attorney, Brandon Davies, maintained Jackson's innocence. Davies expressed confidence that the truth would prevail.

Vaughn recounted the disturbing incident in an interview with the Kansas City Star, stating that Jackson, accompanied by friends, entered the restaurant and forcibly kissed her multiple times. Surveillance footage published by TMZ depicted the alleged incident, showing Jackson grabbing Vaughn and shoving a waiter earlier.

The remaining charge against Jackson relates to the incident involving the waiter. Jackson's conduct has drawn criticism in the past, notably for on-field behavior and controversial social media posts.
