Underground Crime Network Exposed:Three Men's Illegal Operations Leave Victim with Life-Changing Injuries!

In a recent case, dedicated detectives from the Met have successfully sentenced three men who caused severe, life-changing injuries to a man in his 40s.

The officers invested hours in viewing distressing footage, traveling across the UK to locate victims and witnesses, and collaborating with both UK and overseas police forces to bring the culprits to justice.

The victim had contacted these men to arrange illegal operations, resulting in the removal of parts of his body and leaving him with irreversible, life-altering injuries.

Detective Inspector Amanda Greig, leading the investigation, highlighted the complexity of the case, involving a vast amount of horrific material that the team had to sift through to identify the victim and offenders.

The offenders were part of a broader network engaged in illegal backstreet operations with life-threatening consequences. The investigation revealed a network spanning the UK and overseas, prompting collaboration with multiple police forces.

DI Greig urged anyone with similar experiences to seek medical advice and contact the police, providing details of Operation Vicktor. Additionally, victims can reach out to the LGBT+ anti-abuse charity Galop for support.

The three men received their sentences at the Old Bailey after pleading guilty in separate hearings in 2023. Jacob Crimi-Appleby, Damien Byrnes, and Nathaniel Arnold faced various charges, with Arnold receiving a suspended prison sentence along with community service and rehabilitation.

The investigation, initiated in early 2021, led to the arrests of the three men between December 2021 and September 2022. Authorities encourage anyone with further information to contact the police or Crimestoppers anonymously, quoting Operation Vicktor.
