A California nurse, Jacob Daniel Hartman (27), has been arrested on charges of sexual assault. The alleged incident happened in mid-January at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Riverside.
The victim, a female patient, reported the assault to the police, leading to an investigation by the Riverside Police Department's Sexual Assault-Child Abuse Unit.
Based on the nature of the crime, authorities believe there might be other victims who haven't come forward yet.
Hartman, who is no longer employed by Kaiser Permanente, faces charges of sexual assault, including battery of an unconscious person. The hospital confirmed cooperating fully with authorities and launching its own internal investigation.

Hartman was arrested and released on $55,000 bail. It's unclear if he has entered a plea or hired a lawyer.
