Florida Man Kills Girlfriend, Drives Body to Police Station in Shocking Confession

A shocking incident unfolded in Florida this weekend.

Alexander Roque, a 48-year-old man, is currently in jail facing a second-degree murder charge.

According to reports, he allegedly killed his girlfriend, Yesenia Rodriguez, and then drove her body to the police station to confess the crime.

The details surrounding this case are disturbing.

Police documents reveal that officers approached a white Hyundai Tucson parked outside the Florida City police station late Saturday night.

Alexander Roque surrendered to them and immediately informed them that a dead body and the weapon used in the crime were inside the vehicle.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed that the woman in the passenger seat was deceased.

The weapon, identified as a .38 caliber revolver, was found under the driver's seat. Local news outlet WPLG, citing unnamed sources, identified the victim as 44-year-old Yesenia Rodriguez.

The story takes a further tragic turn as investigators uncover more details.

The affidavit states that Yesenia's estranged husband received a call from Alexander, admitting to killing her.

This horrific act wasn't enough – Alexander reportedly sent a picture of Yesenia's lifeless body to her estranged husband via text message.

He then followed up with a disturbing video call on WhatsApp, where he showed the body again while driving around town.

The estranged husband, understandably shaken, managed to record some of the video calls and provided it to the police.

Investigators believe Alexander also contacted his cousin, sending another picture of the body as well.

Thankfully, the cousin urged Alexander to turn himself in and even contacted the police to report what he had seen.

The motive for this crime remains unclear.

While detectives suspect the relationship between Alexander and Yesenia might have been on the rocks, this doesn't explain the disturbing chain of events that followed.

Alexander reportedly refused to speak to investigators after his arrest. The Miami-Dade Police Department is leading the investigation.

Neighbors of Alexander in Florida City described him as someone who became withdrawn after a personal loss.

He had moved into the neighborhood two years ago and kept to himself.

One neighbor reported that he recently installed four locks on his door and darkened the windows, suggesting a desire for privacy.

Another neighbor mentioned a strange encounter where Alexander warned her about playing loud music just days before the incident.
