Arrest and Ongoing Investigation

Matthew Davila was arrested on June 13 for an outstanding warrant related to evading arrest in a motor vehicle.

He was subsequently taken to the City Detention Center for booking.

Despite this arrest, the investigation continues as authorities wait for the final autopsy report to determine the course of action.

The community remains vigilant as the CCPD works tirelessly to uncover the details surrounding Tanya Garza's tragic death.

The investigation is ongoing, and any new developments will bring clarity and justice to this heartbreaking case.
