Criminal Investigations by Las Vegas police connected Coleman to four murders over two years, uncovering a web of criminal activity.
The trail of violence began in May 2021.
May 20, 2021
Benjamin McCarty, 49, was shot while working on his car in a parking lot on Charleston Boulevard.
Investigators believe Coleman, along with a getaway driver, ambushed McCarty.
However McCarty’s murder was unrelated to Chester's financial fraud scheme, but stemmed from gang-related activities.
November 2021
Micheal Coleman targeted Marcus Larry, 39, inside a Teriyaki Madness restaurant.
Surveillance footage captured the harrowing moment Coleman entered, fatally shooting Larry and injuring a cashier.
This attack was linked directly to Chester’s PPP loan fraud scheme, as Larry allegedly owed money tied to the financial fraud.
November 2022
William Hill Jr., 54, was gunned down outside his home.
Chester ordered Coleman to kill Hill after he was unable to reach Hill’s son, who was imprisoned for PPP loan fraud.
Evidence, including surveillance footage, showed Coleman exiting a red Hyundai moments before the shooting.
February 27, 2023
The murder of Kidada Stewart, 48, marked another deadly chapter.
Stewart was killed outside her home, and police later traced Coleman to this crime through GPS data and a traffic stop in Arizona.
Her death was also connected to Chester’s financial fraud in Las Vegas.
