The Disturbing Case of Natalie Wagner: Sold explicit videos of Her Children for $5 to $50 on Snapchat
The true crime story of Natalie Wagner, a Port St. Lucie mother, is a harrowing reminder of the depths of human depravity.
In 2024, Wagner was convicted of horrific sex crimes against her own children, including incest, transmitting child pornography, and sexual activity with an animal.
This case, which began with a tip from Snapchat, eventually led to a disturbing criminal investigation that has left the nation in shock.
Let's get into it
How was Natalie Jesslynn Wagner Apprehended?
In August 2022, Snapchat received complaints about someone advertising explicit content involving children.
Snapchat then alerted The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children who traced the IP address to Wagner’s home in Paul St Lucie, in Florida.
The local police department was alerted immediately and they executed a search warrant on her home and phone, uncovering a trove of disturbing evidence.
Crime scene investigators found over 20 explicit videos and Snapchat messages exposing her evil actions.
Assistant State Attorney Katy Reid described the evidence as "evil and horrific."
According to PEOPLE, Wagner sold the videos for as little as $5 to $50, catering to specific requests from buyers.
She reportedly asked buyers for the specifc sexual abuse they wanted to see.
After sending the videos, she would follow up to ask if they were satisfied or if the had any complaints.
Most of the videos found on her phone, showed Wagner committing unspeakable acts against her 1- and 3-year-old sons, as well as the family dog.
Police reports also detailed how Wagner instructed buyers to delete the videos to avoid detection, showcasing her calculated efforts to evade law enforcement.
Reid emphasized the gravity of the case, stating, "She was their mother. I mean, she was the one person who should have made sure this never happened to them."

The Trial and Sentencing of Natalie Wagner
During the trial, it was revealed that Wagner’s actions were not only financially motivated but also driven by a disturbing sense of gratification.
On June 19, 2024, a jury found Wagner guilty of 84 counts, including incest, transmitting child pornography, and sexual activity with an animal.
Reid, who led the prosecution, described the case as "one of the most egregious" she had ever encountered.
On June 25, 2024, Wagner was sentenced to 21 life terms plus 800 years—a sentence that ensures she will never walk free.
Reid stated, "Absolutely no deal for this woman. She needed to be locked away and throw away the key, essentially."

The Aftermath and Ongoing Investigations
While Wagner’s sentencing brings some closure, the case is far from over.
Her husband is also facing charges for failing to protect his children as reported by WPTV.
Additionally, Reid has vowed to investigate the individuals who requested and purchased the videos.
The children, now in the care of family members, are receiving counseling and support to help them heal from the trauma.
Reid expressed hope that the 1-year-old, who was too young to fully comprehend the abuse, would not remember the horrors he endured.
However, the 3-year-old has already begun therapy to address the emotional scars left by his mother’s actions.
As Reid aptly put it, "It's disturbing she would give away her children's innocence for 10 bucks."
This true crime case highlights the need for stronger protections for vulnerable children and stricter penalties for those who exploit them.
