According to police reports, the three accused men allegedly carried out a prolonged and systematic pattern of abuse against multiple children between January 2024 and April 2025.
The victims, aged between 3 and 10, were allegedly drugged and taken to an underground storm shelter in Brent, Alabama, where the abuse took place.
William Chase McElroy, 21, reportedly admitted to sexually assaulting at least one young girl and fondling a 6-year-old boy.
He now faces four counts of first-degree rape, six counts of first-degree human trafficking, six counts of first-degree sodomy, and four counts of first-degree kidnapping.
Dalton Terrell, also 21, reportedly confessed to Investigators that he paid several adults to sexually abuse the children, including acts of rape and sodomy.
He was charged with six counts of first-degree rape, twelve counts of first-degree sodomy, and five counts of human trafficking.
Velazquez-Trejo, 29, stands accused of six counts of human trafficking.
Authorities claim he sold explicit images of the victims before he sold them to other individuals for sexual exploitation.
According to AL.com, the children were first drugged, then transported to the bunker, where they were subjected to vaginal intercourse, anal intercourse, and oral sex.
One victim was a 3-year-old girl, while another was a 6-year-old boy.
Criminal investigators have not yet revealed how the suspects first came into contact with the victims or if they knew them beforehand.
However, all three suspects lived in mobile homes within a mile of each other and near the underground bunker.
"This case represents one of the most troubling and complex investigations our office has undertaken. These allegations are sadistic and sickening," said District Attorney Robert Turner Jr. in a statement.

| The Suspects |
Authorities first became aware of the abuse in February 2025 after they received multiple reports of child sexual abuse in the area.
Investigators later discovered that the crimes took place in a hidden underground bunker, which was actually an old storm shelter located near the suspects' homes..
"It's just unimaginable that someone could do this to a child. Children are defenseless, and they depend on adults to take care of them and protect them," said Assistant District Attorney Bryan Jones in an emotional statement to WBRC.
The arrests have sent shockwaves through the small Bibb County community, with many residents expressing anger and demanding harsh punishment for the accused.
"I couldn’t imagine the amount of pain the children went through… I don’t think there’s a way to even do it," said Misty Colburn, a neighbor of one of the suspects, in an interview with WVTM.
The three suspects are set to be arraigned in August 2025, and authorities have indicated that more arrests could follow as the investigation continues.
Multiple agencies, including Homeland Security Investigation and the Alabama Fusion Center, are assisting in the case.
Sheriff Jody Wade has vowed that such crimes will not be tolerated in Bibb County, promising that offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
As the legal process unfolds, many are hoping for justice for the young victims who endured such unthinkable trauma.
