Donovan Faison: Florida Man Convicted of Killing His Pregnant Teen Girlfriend After She Refused Abortion
A 23-year-old Florida man, Donovan L. Faison, has been found guilty of the cold-blooded murder of his pregnant teenage girlfriend, Kaylin Fiengo, and her unborn child.
The shocking case dates back to November 2022, when 18-year-old Fiengo was found fatally shot inside her car at Coastline Park in Sanford, just north of Orlando.

According to investigators, trouble started shortly after Fiengo shared news of her pregnancy with Faison.
When she texted him a picture of two positive pregnancy tests, his response was blunt and straightforward: “Abortion!!!”
Sanford Police Department stated that Faison “erupted” after learning about the pregnancy.
He was already living with another woman who suspected he was cheating, and prosecutors said he felt “angry and pressured,” by the pregnancy.
In messages to a friend, Faison made disturbing comments about Fiengo, writing, “On my brother’s grave, I’m gonna crop her out.” Those words would soon take on a chilling meaning.
“Phones are an extension of your mind and your body,” prosecutor Domenick Leo told jurors. “It’s the reason we can give you clear, convincing evidence. He said he was going to do it, then he did it. The police got the right guy.”
On the night of the murder, Fiengo told a friend she was going to meet Faison at Coastline Park.
That was the last time anyone heard from her alive. Hours later, she was found slumped in the driver’s seat of her Nissan Versa, with the engine still running.
A bullet casing and her ultrasound photo were discovered near her body. Police later confirmed that Faison had lured her there under false pretenses — before shooting her once in the head.
Prosecutor Stewart Stone described the killing as "an execution-style murder,” telling jurors that it was a cold, calculated, and premeditated act.
The evidence painted a disturbing picture of a man who was consumed by rage, and was willing to silence a young woman and her unborn child to avoid taking responsibility.
On October 27, 2025, a Seminole County jury convicted Faison of first-degree murder, killing of an unborn child, and burglary for firing into Fiengo’s vehicle. The jury voted 11-1 to recommend the death penalty, citing the cold, calculated nature of the killing.
According to New York Post, Faison’s sentencing is set for December 5, 2025, where he could face death by lethal injection.
Kaylin Fiengo was just 18 and already a devoted mother to her toddler son, Ace, but sadly, her life was cut short before she could welcome another child into the world.
