Leslie Price: Texas Father Sentenced to Life for Sexually Assaulting and Impregnating His 17-Year-Old Daughter

MCKINNEY, Texas — A 41-year-old father will spend the rest of his life in prison after a Collin County jury convicted him of sexually assaulting his teenage daughter, a crime that led to the birth of a child.

Leslie Price, of Princeton, was found guilty of prohibited sexual conduct on July 1, 2026, and just a few weeks later, he got the maximum sentence of life in prison.

This case started on September 10, 2024, when the 17-year-old victim walked into an Amarillo police station and reported that her father had sexually assaulted her while she was living with him in Princeton.

During that interview, officers learned she was about three months pregnant, so the case was quickly transferred to the Princeton Police Department, and Price was arrested shortly afterward.

Durng his arrest, investigators seized two of Price’s cellphones, and what they found on those devices became a central part of the state’s case.

According to police reports, the search history included queries like whether a 17-year-old could become pregnant, methods to obtain an abortion, and the age of consent in Texas, as per Fox News.

After the victim gave birth in March 2025, police collected DNA samples from Price, the teenager, and the newborn.

Medical tests eventually confirmed that Price was the biological father of both the victim and her child, prosecutors said.

At the end of June 2026, the criminal trial against Price began, and prosecutors presented that DNA evidence to the jury which confirmed he was the father of his daughter’s child.

They also introduced the phone records, which connected Price directly to the searches that showed he was aware of both the pregnancy and the legal implications of his actions.

Additionally, prosecutors brought in evidence of Price’s criminal history, which included prior prison sentences for assault family violence and engaging in organized criminal activity.

After considering that record alongside the facts of the case, the jury sentenced Price to life in prison on July 22, 2026, as per CBS News.

Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis did not hold back when describing the gravity of the crime.

“Leslie Price committed the ultimate betrayal — he sexually assaulted his own 17-year-old daughter and fathered her child,” Willis said in a written statement. “This verdict protects our community and delivers justice for a young victim who showed tremendous courage.”
