Arizona Man Arrested for Intentionally Crashing into Ex-Girlfriend's ATV, Resulting In Her Death

In Arizona, a 40-year-old man named John H. Stettler was arrested for allegedly causing the death of his ex-girlfriend, Sally Minard.

The incident involved a collision between a quad ATV and a "go-kart type" vehicle, as reported by the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

Responding to the scene on Driftwood Drive and Boathouse Drive, about 250 miles northwest of Phoenix, first responders found Minard, who was driving the quad ATV.

She suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she tragically passed away shortly after arriving.

After investigating the crash, detectives determined that it was not just a simple vehicle collision but a criminal act.

They discovered that Stettler, a resident of Meadview, was operating the go-kart vehicle that collided with Minard.

The two had been in a romantic relationship before the deadly crash.

Although it is not clear how long they dated or when their relationship ended, Stettler was taken into custody without incident and charged with Minard's murder.

He is currently held in the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on a $300,000 bond.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing, and authorities are trying to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
