Fatal Car Chase: TikTok Influencer Mahek Bukhari, and Mother Found Guilty of Two Murders in a Car Chase That Went Totally Wrong

In a shocking turn of events, a TikTok influencer named Mahek Bukhari and her mother were found guilty of the murder of two young men, Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin. 

The heartbreaking event unfolded in a high-speed car chase when one of the men threatened to expose sexually explicit photos of the influencer's mother.

The trial at Leicester Crown Court lasted three months, revealing a story of love, obsession, extortion, and what the prosecution alleged as cold-blooded murder.

Saqib Hussain had an affair with Ansreen Bukhari, Mahek's mother. 

When he threatened to reveal their relationship to her husband and son, the whole incident took a dark turn. 

On February 11, 2022, Saqib and Mohammed lost their lives after being ambushed at a car park and chased off the road near Leicester.

The court heard emotional recordings of Saqib's desperate call to the police just moments before his death. 

He cried for help as balaclava-wearing assailants pursued him, leading to the fatal crash.

The jury found Mahek Bukhari and her mother guilty of two counts of murder. 

Other defendants were also involved, with some convicted of manslaughter.

The victims' families shared their grief and pain during the trial. 

Saqib was described as a caring and kind-hearted young man, deeply loved by all who knew him.

The sentencing is scheduled for September 1, with the defendants facing serious consequences for their actions.
