Fatal Confrontation: Mpumalanga Man, Siyabonga Mlambo, Accused of Stabbing His Wife's Lover To Death

In a shocking incident near Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, a man was arrested for allegedly murdering another man, whom he suspected of having an affair with his estranged wife.

Siyabonga Mlambo, 33, had followed his wife to the man's home and confronted them. A heated fight ensued, resulting in the victim being stabbed to death. 

Mlambo later surrendered to the police and was charged with murder.

The incident took place in Vosman on Monday. Prior to this, Mlambo's estranged wife had obtained a protection order against him. 

On that fateful day, Mlambo followed his wife to the other man's home, after he suspected they were having an affair.

A confrontation ensued and during the confrontation, the wife left the scene, leaving the two men to fight. 

Tragically, the victim succumbed to his injuries after being fatally stabbed.

Mlambo appeared in court and is currently in custody. He is set to apply for bail on August 10th. 

The provincial police commissioner, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, urged the public to seek professional help when dealing with personal issues rather than resorting to violence.
