Justice For Lakaria Moore: Arrest Made in Connection to Teen's Murder Case in Texas


Texas police have arrested Tahdeejah Washington-Harris, 29, for hindering the arrest of Christopher Carter, a suspect in 18-year-old Lakaria Moore's murder.

Moore's body was found on May 22 outside Lubbock after disappearing the day before. The police named Christopher Carter as a suspect after discovering her body in the trunk of his car.

After the gruesome discovery, they searched his home and issued a warrant.

On July 30, a tip led police to Carter at the Stadium Motel. Officers surrounded the place but found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

Tahdeejah Washington-Harris is accused of helping Carter avoid arrest.

The investigation revealed Carter shot Moore in his front yard after they attended a party together. 


Neighbors reported hearing gunshots on the night Moore disappeared. 

Police found blood evidence in Carter's home and the yard.
