A 29-year-old e-hailing driver from Lagos State, Adeniran Jerimiah, who holds an accounting degree, found himself in handcuffs after being arrested for robbing his passenger.
His arrest took place after one of his previous victims recognized him in a shop, and quickly raised an alarm.
During his arrest, Jerimiah explained that the increase in fuel prices resulting from the removal of fuel subsidy had driven him to commit these robberies.
