25-year-old man, Liam Brown was caught Redhanded Having S#x With a Calf, Thanks To Watchful Farmers Who Set Up a Camera After Suspecting Foul Play

A man may face imprisonment after confessing to trespassing on a farm with the intent of engaging in a sexual act with a calf. 

Liam Brown, a 25-year-old individual, was apprehended by vigilant farmers who suspected mistreatment of their livestock. To confirm their suspicions, they installed cameras and alarms on their property, as reported by ITV.

In the dark of night in June 2022, Brown surreptitiously entered the farm located in Christchurch, Dorset. Notably, some of Brown's family members had previously worked at this very farm, establishing a prior connection. 

Charles Nightingale, who presented the case in Poole magistrates court, stated, "The defendant was known to the family for a number of years since he was a child."

Concerned for the welfare of their young livestock, the farming family acted on their suspicions and implemented alarms and surveillance equipment in the vicinity. These measures proved effective as alarms alerted them on the fateful night, leading to the discovery of the defendant. 

Subsequently, samples were collected from the animal, providing evidence of the inappropriate act.

In court, Brown expressed remorse as he pleaded guilty to charges of sexual penetration with a living animal and causing undue suffering to a protected animal. 

Notably, he had no prior criminal record, and there were no reports of him returning to the farm after the incident.

His defense attorney, Harry Price-Smith, concurred that the case should be referred to a crown court for sentencing. As a result, the defendant was granted unconditional bail. 

Addressing Brown, the magistrates stated, "It is going to crown court because the offenses are so serious. It is possible you need greater punishment than we can give." 

The sentencing is scheduled for September 22.
